Class Date: Saturday February 17th

Class Hours: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Instructor: Terry King

Class Cost: $35.00 per 2-hour session

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Class Description: This jar cover makes for an almost rustic but soft addition to your home decor. Put a candle inside the jar and you’ll see it’s even lovelier with the glow! The pattern is a good challenge for beginners and is a simple introduction to lacework as well as charts. The jar cover takes very little time and yarn to knit. This makes for a great quick-knit gift as well as pretty decoration for parties and events. Knit in different colors, even some yarn with a little sparkle, and the Faerie’s Firelight jar cover has a whole new look!

Instructions have been written out as well as charted for the knitters preference.

Material Needed:

  • Yarn: Light fingering or fingering weight yarn 70-80yds for small jar, 80-100yds for large jar.
  • Needles: US 1 (2.5mm); 36-40″ cable for magic loop, or size required to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle

Pattern: Faerie’s Firelight by Jenn Sheelen

Homework:

  • Purchase all materials and have yarn wound if needed.
