Sami in Quechua (The native language of the Incas) means “kindness”. Meet Sami, Amano's 100% Organic Peruvian Pima Cotton. Pima cotton is often called the “silk of the south” and the first special summer fiber sourced to reflect Amano's commitment to the planet. Pima cotton is a long staple fiber (1 3/8" long or longer) and is certified organic. Grown on the coast and high jungle of Peru, Sami's composition is truly unique, making it an extremely soft and luxurious cotton to knit with.
