This blend is a great alternative to those who are sensitive to mohair, but still would like that fluff in their knitwear. Because this delicate fiber comes from a Suri Baby Alpaca, it is butter soft, silky, and light as a feather! Although alpaca is not a strong fiber on its own, the generous silk percentage in this base gives this yarn plenty of strength for various knit and crochet items. Plume Lace is great for hats, neckwear, and garments.
