Class Cost: $60 for two 2-hr classes

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and up

Class Description: Cable your first hat! You never know when winter will be over, and in any case, we do know it will come again, do get ready! A quick knit in super bulky yarn, we can really focus on how to cable and how to decrease for the crown.

Materials Needed:

  • Yarn: 90 yards of super bulky (sample in Malabrigo Rasta)
  • Needles: Size 11 (8 mm) and Size 13 (9 mm) needles or size you need to get gauge or to fit your recipient
  • Cable Needle
  • Yarn needle

Pattern: Park Hat by Sarah Luse (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/park-hat)

Gauge:10 stitches and 16 rows in stockinette for an 8 inch unstretched brim

Finished Measurements:

8½”/21.5 cm tall x 16″/40.5 cm circumference

Skills you should have: knit, purl, slip

Homework: Please purchase materials and have yarn wound before class.
