Class Name: Crochet a Cardigan

Class Description: Crochet a cardigan out of two granny-square hexagons and learn how to do ribbing using front and back post stitches!
1312 – 1640 yards (1200 – 1500 m) worsted weight yarn
5 mm (H-8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
3 stitch markers
Skills you should have: chain, single, and double crochet
Skills you will learn: granny cluster, front post double crochet, back post double crochet, seaming with single crochet
Homework: Please purchase materials and have at least two skeins of yarn wound before class. Complete both hexagons before the 2/13 class.
Sample in Store: Sample in store is Size 1 made with Cascade 220 Heathers
Yarn Recommendations: Pattern calls for Ístex Plötulopi, but Cascade 220 Superwash, Cascade 220 Heathers, or Brooklyn Tweed Shelter are suitable substitutes.
